The blue curve is what your cork does to a tone. Along the bottom is what this image sends to the laser; up the left is where those tones land once burned. Where the curve goes flat, tones that differ on screen come out identical on cork.
Laser PNG carries its real size, so Bambu Suite imports it at — with no scaling.
Until you do this, every preview in the modeler is a plausible guess. The tile is a step wedge of known grays plus line pairs down to 0.2 mm; burning it measures what your cork, your 10 W module and your power and speed actually do.

The four corner squares are found automatically, and the code along the tile’s bottom edge says which tile it is and which way up you shot it. If the corners are not found, tap each one on the photo — any order — and drag a marker to nudge it.
